After more than six years of CrossFit I love competing in local comps and the Open, but my biggest passion is for traditional CrossFit and the pillar of GPP (general physical preparedness). I’m driven to understand personal goals and take the long-term view of the health and fitness of our members.
For 25 years I’ve been teaching in various fields and capacities—Kung Fu, mathematics (!) and now CrossFit—and have seen that people can achieve far more than they ever would have believed possible, prior to taking those first steps. I strive to bring out the awesome in all of our members by focussing on getting the fundamentals right. Approaching everything from the daily workouts to lifestyle choices with the end game in mind – being able to train and live life to the fullest for decades to come.
