CrossFitting for over 9 years and coaching for over 7, I’ve come realize that there is nothing more important in CrossFit than the community around it. I’m a strong believer that we are stronger together than we can ever be alone. This is what drives me each and every day to improve the lives of our athletes.
Similarly, I couldn’t be more grateful for the role I get to play with CrossFit Kids and teens. We all look back on our own childhoods and wonder where we would be had we started when we were as young as some of these kids. I get to help make a difference in the lives of these kids and teens and I take that very seriously. I am proud and honoured to be a part of teaching these kids about leading a clean and strong life, having fun, and supporting each other along the way.

After more than six years of CrossFit I love competing in local comps and the Open, but my biggest passion is for traditional CrossFit and the pillar of GPP (general physical preparedness). I’m driven to understand personal goals and take the long-term view of the health and fitness of our members.
For 25 years I’ve been teaching in various fields and capacities—Kung Fu, mathematics (!) and now CrossFit—and have seen that people can achieve far more than they ever would have believed possible, prior to taking those first steps. I strive to bring out the awesome in all of our members by focussing on getting the fundamentals right. Approaching everything from the daily workouts to lifestyle choices with the end game in mind – being able to train and live life to the fullest for decades to come.
